About Me

I'm a yank who loves many things BBC and UK. Also a fan of OTR, ("Old Time Radio") and current audio plays and programs. I listen to them, (much of them with the legendary  David Warner,) when I walk, ride or need some soothing sounds.

As someone who has dealt with more than one form of anxiety disorder, audio books and plays have come not only to be great entertainment, but have carried me through some pretty rough points.

I also love psychology, classical music, classic films and stars, (ask me my favorite Barbara Stanwyck film - go on!) indie music of sorts, ballet, cats and unicorn hair.

If you could that would be kind, thank you. I've been doing a bit od scouting about on Amazon/Audible, so if I spot any lost gems you don't mention I'll let you know.

I'm hoping the BBC will release The Once and Future King. They've released quite a few other things as Audible downloads, so fingers crossed!

Sorry for the delay in reply - I've been a bit sick recently (nothing serious, just a bit iffy). Thanks for your offer to help out with the David Warner plays/audiobooks, and I'll happily take you up on it (oh, that voice! *swoon!*).

I'm currently working my way through his Big Finish plays and am enjoying most of them. The BBC are releasing a load of their afternoon plays on audio download, several featuring Mr Warner - it looks like I'm going to have to get an Audible app!
